UC San Diego's Payee Management Tool

PaymentWorks is a self-service, online tool that simplifies how payees do business with UC San Diego. Analytica recommended PaymentWorks as part of the Supplier Risk Management engagement initiated by the University of California Office of the President and is being adopted by many of the other UC campuses. UC San Diego launched PaymentWorks on April 3rd, 2023. PaymentWorks' robust security measures help maintain the best defense against increasingly complex fraud schemes. 

What is available in PaymentWorks?

• Streamlined processes for payee registration and invoice tracking 
• ACH payment option available for Purchase Order Suppliers
• Consolidated access to payment status information 

Who can access PaymentWorks?

• PaymentWorks will be accessible to payees who conduct business with campus clients.
• If a UC San Diego department wishes to do business with you or your company, please instruct them to send you an invitation to register in PaymentWorks.
• Existing payees can request an invitation to PaymentWorks from their UC San Diego department contact to update their account information.

What happened to Payment Compass?

Payment Compass was retired on February 20, 2025, and replaced with two solutions: Transcepta for invoice submission and PaymentWorks for checking invoice status, payment status, and managing payee information. Read the announcement.
