  • UC San Diego is actively participating in the University of California P200 program, which is a systemwide procurement initiative to reduce costs for goods and services by taking advantage of the combined buying power of the ten UC campuses and their affiliates. The program has exceeded its FY 2013-14 savings goal andUC San Diego efforts on behalf of P200 were recognized.
  • UC San Diego received the National Procurement Institute's Achievement of Excellence in Procurement 2014 award. Recipients were awarded by demonstrating procurement excellence based on innovation, professionalism, productivity, eProcurement, and leadership.
  • Procurement & Contracts launched a new tool that allows departments to view their organizations spending and savings. If you are a UC San Diego employee, try out the new tool: MySpend.
  • Business and Financial Services (BFS) created a new tool – BFSupport – designed to offer campus a centralized place to report issues, ask questions, and request services from BFS divisions, including Procurement & Contracts.   • UC San Diego’s Small Business Development Office is working with SANDAG to promote the participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises and small businesses for their Mid-Coast Corridor Transit Project
